25/06/2024 Actualité Brazil will start the implementation of Stage 3 of the HPMP
The third Stage of the Brazilian Hydrochlorofluorocarbons Phase-out Management Plan (HPMP) was approved during the 94th Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Multilateral Fund for the Implementation of the Montreal Protocol, which took place between May 27th and May 30th. The country will count with US$ 36,5 million to implement the third and last phase of the program that aims to achieve the elimination of 100% of HCFC consumption by 2030.
18/01/2024 Actualité Cool Talks: "From the beginning we decided to only work with natural refrigerants"
For this Cool Talk, we have had the opportunity to interview Kim Christensen,
Founder and CEO of Fenagy. Kim is a mechanical engineer; throughout his career he has been working with many different types of refrigerants. He has been part of the refrigeration industry since his first job in 1994 at the Danish Institute of Technology, who was the forerunner on natural refrigerants in the late '80s and the early '90s.11/01/2024 Actualité Regional NOU Officers Negotiation Training held in Nairobi
The Green Cooling Initiative and the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of Kenya organized a two-day regional negotiation training on strengthening negotiation skills for the international context for the National Ozone Officers of GCI partner countries in October 2023 in Nairobi.
11/01/2024 Actualité Cool Talks: “We need to inform, through different channels, that there are alternatives to F-gases and that these alternatives are not dangerous.”
For this Cool Talk, we have had the opportunity to interview Armin Hafner,
Professor in refrigeration technology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). In 1995 he joined SINTEF, in this capacity as researcher he worked closely with NTNU on CO2, air conditioning and other refrigeration systems at that time. He became a professor at NTNU in 2016.MembreECOOLTEC Grosskopf GmbH
ECOOLTEC Grosskopf GmbH aims to offer the refrigerated transport industry solutions for the challenges posed by environmental regulations and CO2 certification. Therefore, the German company has developed a new generation of particularly sustainable, efficient and safe refrigeration machines. Technological highlights of the refrigeration machines are among others the almost emission- and CO2-free drive, the use of the natural refrigerants R1270 (propene) and R744 (CO2) with lowest single-digit global warming potential instead of fluorinated refrigerants with GWP values of approximately 2,000; highest operational safety together with enormous available cooling capacity, coupled with extraordinary energy efficiency. ECOOLTEC has secured the system against leakage into the structure by means of a fully hermetic refrigeration circuit and uses a small refrigerant charge down by 90 percent compared with conventional transport refrigeration systems. The refrigeration process takes place completely outside the cargo hold. In the box body, the non-flammable natural refrigerant CO2 ensures cold distribution. The units are suitable for a wide range of mobile applications. They can be used for the largest as well as for compact box bodies, for trailers and rigid vehicles, in both short and long-haul operations. …
MembreSINTECO SRL
SINTECO® srl--- Green refrigeration & Insulation --- Since 1990 Sinteco has introduced hydrocarbons such as R290 and R600a to many refrigeration OEMs in factories that generally use non-flammable gases, converting production from HCFC or HFC with new ecological HC , both in domestic refrigeration (white) and in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning. We supply refrigerant gases in according by the CE517/2014 and Design and construction of new factories and/or conversion of old systems-process to use the new flammable hydrocarbon refrigerant gases in complete safety. Furthermore, we believe that in commercial and industrial refrigeration, but also in insulation in general, a technological leap is also necessary here in improving the lambda and therefore insulation, through the application of new molecules and new technologies in the polyurethane, Pur-Pir sector. , XPS, XPE... improving the energy efficiency of isolated machines for lower energy consumption. Sinteco has always worked in Europe and around the World to introduce new products technologies and update processes-plant at the most important global OEMs. Visit our web-site to know more about SINTECO® …
MembreNOVAER Asia Pacific Ltd.
NOVAER Asia Pacific Ltd. primarily concentrates on advancing sustainable cooling solutions. Approximately two years ago, we initiated a pilot project employing blockchain technology to monitor the sustainability and due diligence of our supply chains. In 2023, we extended this approach to trace the lifecycle of refrigerants, even though we primarily utilize R290 in our applications. …
