MemberGreen Chiller Association for Sorption Cooling e.V.
A platform established to launch thermally driven and green cooling technology on a wide scale. The Green Chiller Association for Sorption Cooling e.V., Berlin, Germany was formed in March 2009 as German Association to promote and develop the solar and thermal cooling markets. The association represents around 60% of all European manufacturers of sorption chillers in the small and medium-scale cooling capacity range. In general, the Green Chiller association forces strong lobby work to increase the awareness for these innovative sorption cooling technologies in politics, industry, trade and the public. The main objectives of the association are the promotion and development of solar and thermal cooling markets in Germany and Europe. This is done by demonstrating different applications, developing and designing new tools and the standardisation of chillers and solar/thermal cooling systems. One important target for developing the solar cooling market is to create the basis for funding of solar cooling systems. Therefore, a standardisation of the solar cooling systems is necessary as well as the availability of design tools for planners and architects. …

MemberGrenada - National Ozone Unit
As part of the Energy Division in Grenada's Ministry of Finance, the National Ozone Unit (NOU) is responsible for the political implementation of the commitments set out in the Montreal Protocol. The NOU's main task is to fulfil Grenada's obligations under the Montreal Protocol. This included the phase-out of chlorufluorocarbons (CFCs) in 2010, which was already achieved in 2006. Grenada is also on a promising path with regard to the phasing out of ozone depleting substances (ODS) such as hydrofluorcarbons (HFCs) regulated under the Kigali Amendment, for which it has repeatedly received much international recognition. This success is mainly due to the concrete measures implemented by the NOU, such as the training of refrigeration and air-conditioning (RAC) technicians in environmentally friendly technologies that protect the ozone layer, the introduction of a quota system to regulate the importation of ODS and a labelling standard for the safe use, handling and storage of ODS. …

MemberHowe Corporation
Howe Corporation is a 111-year old manufacturing company specializing in flake ice machines for food retail and industrial processing applications. In 2009 we developed CO2 compatible ice flakers for the supermarket industry. Since that time, we have expanded our units to include models for Direct expansion (sub & trans-critical) as well as expanding our production capacities. Our natural refrigerant lineup also includes a large selection of ammonia machine models producing from 2000 pounds, up through 20,000 pounds of flaker ice per 24 hours, designed for light and full industrial applications. We continue to monitor the under 150 GWP market to adjust to needs of our customers and the industry. Howe also offers ice storage bins compatible with other ice machines. …
MemberHyChill
HyChill refrigerants are produced from naturally occurring hydrocarbon gases, which are purified and blended using unique HyChill processes. The end result is the brand renowned for its consistency and quality. HyChill refrigerants have no ozone impact and minimal GWP. HyChill hydrocarbon refrigerants have been adopted as ideal replacement for synthetic refrigerants such as R134a, R22, R404a or R410a in most air conditioning, refrigeration and heating applications. HyChill refrigerants perform superbly in all conditions and work particularly well in extremely hot or tropical conditions, where most other and especially synthetic refrigerants (CFC, HFC, HCFC) fail to maintain performance. Superior efficiency of HyChill hydrocarbon refrigerants, combined with reduced charge weight results in great installation cost savings and on-going energy use savings for the customer. HyChill hydrocarbon refrigerants are compliant with relevant national and international standards, such as: ISO 5149, the ISO/IEC 60335 series, BS 4434–1995 as well as AS/NZS 1677. …
